 If Clause atau dikenal juga sebagai conditional sentence merupakan suatu bentuk kalimat pengandaian, keinginan, atau kemungkinan dalam Bahasa Inggris. Ada 5 bentuk If Clause dengan maksud, tujuan dan rumus yang berbeda, diantaranya:  1. If Clause as Reminder :  If Clause as Reminder Conditional sentence ini merupakan kalimat pengandaian yang umumnya digunakan saat mengingatkan konsekuensi yang harus dilakukan jika menginginkan sesuatu agar terjadi Example:  If you wish to win the competitions, you need to study onerous | Artinya: Jika menginginkan kemenangan dalam kompetisi, kamu harus belajar dengan giat. 2. If Clause as Suggestion :  Pada tipe ini If clause digunakan sebagai cara mengungkapkan saran.  Example:  If you wish to have recently novel, you ought to attend a shop | Artinya:Jika ingin novel terbaru, kamu harus pergi ke toko buku 3. If Clause as Imperative: Tujuan dari If clause ini adalah mengajak seseorang untuk melakukan suatu tindakan saat menginginkan sesuatu. Example:
